Young Girl Stabbed in Christchurch

August 20, at approximately 5:45 p.m., Dorset Police received a report about a girl who had been stabbed at a Glider Close address. After police arrived, a Christchurch resident in his 20s taken into custody on charges of seriously hurting someone. An arrest has been made on suspicion of aiding an offender against a fifty-year-old local woman. Police are still in charge of both of them.

The girl was taken to the hospital to receive treatment for injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening. Police are now pleading with the public to provide, any relevant details to help in their investigation.

After a small girl in Christchurch was stabbed and sent to the hospital. Dorset detectives are pleading with witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

Dorset Police Chief Superintendent Stewart Dipple: “As officers investigate the scene. There is a greater police presence in the area.” I’m pleading with anyone, who witnessed. What happened or who may have information to help our investigation to come forward.
