Narendra Modi Tenure: Records in Electric Vehicles and Mobile Production

Narendra Modi is the third consecutively elected Prime Minister of India.  Narendra Modi is the most successful political leader in the world of politics. I believe so. I may have a personal disagreement with them.  But their successive successes are not hidden from anyone.  Such achievements can only be achieved by delivering to the public. And without interference, the journey becomes more bearable.

A landmark in Narendra Modi’s tenure

Battery-Operated Electric Vehicles (in Thousands): In 2014, the number of battery-operated electric vehicles in India was 2.39.  The production of which was increased in one year to 7.80 in 2015.  In 2016, it was raised 6 times to 49.85.  87.42 in 2017, 130.25 in 2018, 130.25 in 2018, 166.82 in 2019, 124.65 in 2020, 331.47 in 2021, 1025.06 in 2022.  And in 2023 it has reached 1529.94.

Mobile Phone Production (in Rs Crore): From 2004-05 to 2014-15, mobile phone production in India was up to Rs 18,900 crore.  Which was increased to 50000 in 2015-16.  Production increased to 1,50,000 in 2017-18.  2,00,000 crore mark in 2019-20.  In 2022-23 this number went up to 3,50,000 and the latest numbers for 2023-24 are up to 4,10,000.

Mobile Phone Export & Import: The Modi government changed the production as well as import and export of mobile phones. The export of mobile phones has reached 3.22 lakh crores.  Imports, around 50,000 thousand in 2014, have now declined to just under 10,000 thousand in 2023-24.  And in 2014-15 the export was almost 0.

Currently, India ranks as the world’s second-largest producer of mobile phones.

Safe Train Travel: Train travel is being operated with an advanced signaling system under the Modi government.  The train transport system is important in a country like India.  Where such means of transportation are important for the large population. From 2004 to 2014, there were 837 electronic interlocking stations.  Which has been increased by 3 times till 2023, 2521 railway stations with advanced signaling systems have been established.

Cargo Handling Capacity of Ports: India is a big trading country. Where port gradation is necessary over time. The cargo handling capacity under the Modi government was increased to 87%.  In 2013-14, the number was 1399.99. And the capacity has reached 2627 in 2022,23. India is developing the best port system to become a trade hub in the region.

Development of Four-Lane National Highways: Like other means of transportation, the Modi government has also improved the road system. Along with flyovers, and bridges, the length of four-lane national highways has also been increased. In 2014, the length of four lanes was 18,371 km. While in 2023 this length has reached 46,179 km.

Export of Processed Foods Products: A change was also seen in the export of processed food products.  Exports were worth $4.9 billion in 2014-15.  In 2022-23, it has become a market of 13.1 billion dollars.

Solar Manufacturing Capacity: Solar systems are a growing market for renewable energy generation.  Solar manufacturing capacity under the Modi government was 2.4 GW per annum in 2014, which has reached 25 GW per annum in 2023.

Fast Broad Band Internet: Broadband internet is a major need of today. Fast internet means fast communication. In 2014, the internet was at 1.7 MBPS. which has reached 30.9 MBPS in 2023.

In addition, the Modi government has increased the movement by water within the country from 16.9 million metric tons to 126.15 million metric tons in 2023. The digital system was enhanced. The export of Shaheed reached 1622 crores. Increased affordable housing. 15,920 crore in defense exports.  Improved gas system for domestic consumers. Medical education, sugar production in agriculture have reached 394 lakh tons, and the export of pharmaceuticals and drugs has reached 1833 billion rupees.

Conclusion

Narendra Modi promoted IT, medical, agriculture, defense strengthening and trade. India has reached new heights with the best foreign policy in the region. Competing in economic markets with numerous internal voices and rivals such as China, maintaining relations with the Western world and obtaining oil from Russia. Gaining gas from Iran and access to its port are major achievements.
