London Tube Stations Closure Plan for This Weekend

The weekend is almost here, so let’s see what TfL closures are planned for Friday through Sunday.

Similar to most weekends, TfL will be carrying out essential maintenance. This means that some stations will be closed entirely or in part.

To stay informed, about the most recent changes to the London Underground use the TfL app or website.

This is all we require at this time.

Friday, August 16

There are no expected closures on this day.

Saturday, August 17

Piccadilly line

The Wood Green to Cockfosters service will be unavailable from Saturday, August 17, at 6 a.m. to Sunday. September 1. On its daily route between Wood Green and Cockfosters. The replacement bus service PL5 passes through Bounds Green. New Southgate (for National Rail), Arnos Grove, Southgate and Oakwood. You can take the N91 bus during the Night Tube hours. On Saturday, August 17, there will be no service between Kings Cross St Pancras and Cockfosters from 12:30 am to 6 am. There will be replacement buses available.

From August 17 to September 1, no service will operate between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge. Instead, use the Metropolitan Line’s services.

London Overground

London Overground will not be running between Hackney Downs and Chingford on August 17.

From Hackney Downs to Chingford, the L3 replacement bus service passes through Clapton, St James Street, Walthamstow Central, Wood Street and Highams Park.

Waterloo & City line

Service is available only Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 12.30 a.m. There is no service on Saturdays, Sundays or public/bank holidays.

Sunday, August 18

London Overground

Hackney Downs to Chingford will close on August 18. The L3 replacement bus service goes via Clapton, St James Street, Walthamstow Central, Wood Street and Highams Park between Hackney Downs and Chingford.

Additionally, there won’t be any service between Crystal Palace and Sydenham. When traveling from Anerley to Crystal Palace take the connecting local bus.
