Dart Ford Town Centre Stabbing

After reports of stabbings in a town center, three people admitted to the hospital.

Last night, at 8:19 p.m. police were called in response to reports of an altercation in Spital Street, Dartford.

The Flying Boat pub and the intersection of Orchard Street and the road closed off while emergency services responded.

A trio of individuals were admitted to the hospital with apparent injuries from stabbings. It is not thought that their wounds are potentially fatal.

According to police, an inquiry is being conducted to ascertain all the details.

Spital Street is closed to assist with inquiries. But officers are still in the area this morning.

There are restrictions on access to the high street via Kent Road.

Hundreds of churchgoers have been affected by the closure as they are now unable to attend services, that are scheduled to be held at Net Church Dartford.

Pastor Jaya Judd stated: “It would be unsafe to have people in the building, because we are unable to open due to the roads being closed and our fire exits being blocked off too due to the cordon.”

She also mentioned that the services scheduled for this morning, at 11 a.m. and this afternoon at 1 p.m. would now be streamed online via YouTube.

As far as is known, Sainsbury’s in the Priory Shopping Centre is still open.

Jim Dickson, the Dartford MP, expressed his worries on X, the former Twitter, after the incident. “Very concerned about this violent incident that occurred in the center of Dartford last night.”

“I wish for a full recovery for everyone concerned. I’ll be enquiring with #KentPoliceDart as to what more can be done to bolster town security and keep everyone safe.
