Crime in London News | Four Men Convicted

The victim was found to have suffered a collapsed lung and several bleeds to the brain

MET Police arrested four men who beat a man badly on the road. All four men were sentenced at the inner London crown court.

Met officers have brought to justice, a group of men who severely beat a man causing multiple brain bleeds.

On August 1st, at Inner London Crown Court, MacKenzie received a four-year, three-month sentence. Andre, Lewis and Pierre Jacobs received sentences, totaling 2 years 3 months and 2 years, respectively.

The victim drove back up Clements Road and collided with Andre Jacobs in his silver BMW, after reversing down into Burges Road and hitting a black Ford Focus carrying Lewis and Pierre Jacobs. Mackenzie appeared in his white BMW moments later, trailing the wrecked cars.

The victim was left motionless and face down on the floor by the suspects’ vicious attack, which lasted for about 20 seconds. The suspects leaped from their cars and pulled the victim out of his car. After about a minute, MacKenzie came back and stamped on the victim’s head.

After he threatened them with a knife, the group stayed at the scene and reported the incident to the police, saying they had detained him.

As soon as the responding officers realized the victim was seriously hurt. They called for assistance from the paramedics from London’s Air Ambulance and London Ambulance Service.

The victim was taken to the critical care unit right away after it was discovered that he had suffered a collapsed lung, multiple brain bleeds that required the placement of a medically induced coma, a fractured jaw bone, a fractured rib, and a fracture to a portion of his spine.
