Cambridgeshire Police searching for the driver who crashed three vehicles

An A-road in Cambridgeshire experienced a three-vehicle crash and the police are searching for the driver, who left the scene. On Wednesday, September 11. it was reported that the incident occurred.

Around 5.22 am, emergency personnel were summoned to the A1307 Cambridge Road in the vicinity of Linton. The road was closed after the collision, leaving one car on its roof.

Three injuries have reportedly been reported, one of which involves firefighters cutting a person out of their car. At this point, it is not believed that their injuries are potentially fatal.

Police verified that the driver of the car on its roof made a foot flee from the scene. They also mentioned that local inquiries and searches of the area are still going on.

A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said: We ask anyone with information about the collision, including dashcam footage to report it online via our website or by calling 101 and referencing incident 63 of September 11.

The Highways Agency is currently in charge of the road closure. Drivers are urged to find alternate routes as there are delays in the area.
